Wildlife charities
Here is a list of the wildlife charities that you can look at, help and hopefully donate to. All do good for the natural world, some better than others. I have donated to all most all of them and to be honest most have human concern right up there with the work they are supposed to be doing. But when problems arise with wildlife and nature they will all be there to help.
Sea Shepherds conservation society (seasheperds.org) is probably the most hands on, and unafraid to take action when needed. They protect the oceans and its creature from man's hand. Paul Watson WILL do what is needed to save the oceans creatures and all creatures. Man's problems are not his concern, Oh how I wish more had his courage and conviction. Read and look at the web sites and please try and donate to some, they do all help. Remember, it can't always be about man, it can't always be about money.
Defenders of Wildlife (www.defenders.org), World Wildlife fund (wwf.org), Earthjustice.org, National wildlife federation (nwf.org), www.causeanuproar.org, Oceana.org, nature conservancy.org, sierra club.org, conservation.org, world conservation society(wcs.org), biologicaldiversty.org, www.panthera.org
There are hundreds, many worldwide and many local, like your humane society. There needs to be lots of people caring for those that man wishes to use and abuse.
It should be noted that America has problems with some of our wildlife and natural areas, for the most part we have protections in place to help keep our flora and fauna in tacked.(what remains) Unless we have direct attacks on something like the protections of our wild Gray wolves, we do have stability. Many/most other countries do not have these laws and donating to charities that help protect animals worldwide, like Tigers, is most worthy.
